How to make Pork Chops with a Crunchy Honey Garlic Sauce
Ingredients
6 Pork Loin Chops, trimmed
2 eggs, beaten
4 tbsp water
1 cup flour
2 tsp salt
2 tsp black pepper
½ tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp ground sage
1 ½ tbsp ground ginger
1 tbsp nutmeg
1 tbsp paprika
1 tsp Thyme
Sauce:
4 cloves garlic, freshly minced
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup Honey
¼ cup Soy Sauce
1 tsp black pepper
Instructions
In a bowl mix together the flour, salt, pepper, nutmeg, ginger, sage, thyme and cayenne pepper with the paprika and whisk well.
In another bowl, beat the eggs and add water and stir together
Dip each pork chop in the flour mixture and then into the egg mix, and once more into the flour mix.
Press down to be sure the flour and spices adhere to the egg wash.
Heat a skillet over medium heat with 2 tbsp of Canola Oil
Fry the pork chops for 5 to 6 minutes per side
Drain on a wire rack
In a bowl combine the minced garlic, Olive Oil, honey, soy sauce and pepper
Mix well to be assured that it is all blended
Once drained of excess grease, dip each pork chop into the Garlic and Honey sauce
Place on a plate and serve with your favorite side dish.
