Drain and set aside.<\/p>\n<p>In a large frypan, heat oil over medium heat. Cook the onion for about 4 minutes until it is soft.<\/p>\n<p>Add the beef mince and cook it until it is well-browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.<\/p>\n<p>Add the diced carrots and French onion soup mix, and stir well.<\/p>\n<p>Pour in 2 cups of water, bring to the boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>Stir in tomato sauce, peas, and drained macaroni.<\/p>\n<p>Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish. Top it with grated cheese and bake it for 15 minutes until it is golden and melted.<\/p>\n<h2>Notes:<\/h2>\n<p>You can use any type of pasta that you like instead of macaroni, such as penne or fusilli.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t have French onion soup mix, you can substitute it with beef stock powder or gravy mix.<\/p>\n<p>You can use fresh or frozen vegetables in this recipe.
