{"id":4282,"date":"2023-05-05T06:24:17","date_gmt":"2023-05-04T23:24:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/?p=4282"},"modified":"2023-05-05T06:24:17","modified_gmt":"2023-05-04T23:24:17","slug":"cheesy-asparagus-casserole","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/cheesy-asparagus-casserole.html","title":{"rendered":"Cheesy Asparagus Casserole"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>How to make Cheesy Asparagus Casserole<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4283\" src=\"http:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/344772169_1013031719683761_7628496820117681506_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"765\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/344772169_1013031719683761_7628496820117681506_n.jpg 765w, https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/344772169_1013031719683761_7628496820117681506_n-224x300.jpg 224w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 765px) 100vw, 765px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>2 bunches of asparagus<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon butter<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 ounce soft cream cheese<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup heavy whipping cream<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon chicken broth<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon Italian seasoning<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon paprika<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 teaspoon salt<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 teaspoon pepper<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup grated parmesan cheese<\/p>\n<p>1\/8 cup Pepper Jack cheese, shredded<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes<\/p>\n<p>1\/3 cup cooked and crumbled bacon<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions:<\/h2>\n<p>Heat the oven to 400 degrees. \u2013 Wash and trim the asparagus, then grease a 9 x 13 baking tray and place them in it.<\/p>\n<p>In a skillet, melt the butter over a medium heat, then add the soft cheese, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.<\/p>\n<p>Stirring constantly until ingredients are well blended.<\/p>\n<p>Reduce the heat to medium\/low and bring the sauce to a simmer until the heavy whipping cream has reduced and thickened.<\/p>\n<p>Keep whisking until it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
