It\u2019s ready in about 30 minutes!<\/p>\n<p>For last-minute guaranteed amazing dinners the whole family will love, I highly recommend keeping chicken, bacon, heavy cream, and dry pasta or rice in your refrigerator and pantry.<\/p>\n<p>For someone like me who is very inconsistent in the meal-planning department of adulthood, I\u2019ve found this to be extremely helpful.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-4235\" src=\"http:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/343578726_133663643021868_2725904257435398481_n.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"749\" height=\"1242\" srcset=\"https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/343578726_133663643021868_2725904257435398481_n.jpg 749w, https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/343578726_133663643021868_2725904257435398481_n-181x300.jpg 181w, https:\/\/samyenlinhchi.com\/cooking\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/343578726_133663643021868_2725904257435398481_n-618x1024.jpg 618w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 749px) 100vw, 749px\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients<\/h2>\n<p>6 strips bacon cut into small pieces<\/p>\n<p>2 large chicken breasts cut in half lengthwise<\/p>\n<p>Flour for dredging<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 teaspoon garlic powder<\/p>\n<p>Pepper to taste<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup chicken broth<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 teaspoon lemon juice<\/p>\n<p>1 tablespoon butter<\/p>\n<p>1 cup heavy\/whipping cream<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions:<\/h2>\n<p>Cut the bacon up and add it to a skillet (I use kitchen shears to make this job quick). Fry it over medium-high heat until crispy (about 10 mins).<\/p>\n<p>Once the bacon is done, take it out of the pan and set it aside. Leave about 2 tablespoons of the bacon fat in the pan.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, prep your chicken (cut it in half lengthwise so you have 4 smaller cutlets). Sprinkle them with the garlic powder and pepper and then coat them in the flour.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chicken to the skillet and cook it in the remaining bacon fat over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes\/side or until it\u2019s golden.<\/p>\n<p>If it starts to splatter a lot, reduce the heat. Once the chicken is browned, take it out of the pan and set it aside.<\/p>\n<p>Add the chicken broth, lemon juice, and butter to the pan. Let it bubble until it\u2019s reduced by half (about 3-4 minutes).<\/p>\n<p>Stir in the cream and once it starts to bubble, add the chicken and bacon back into the pan.
